This website is operated by Suka Weaves. Throughout this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Suka Weaves. By visiting sukaweaves.com or purchasing from us, you agree to the terms set out below, including the policies referenced within them.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree to them, you should not use this site or place an order.

1. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are the age of majority in your state and have given us consent to allow any minor dependent to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any law in your jurisdiction, including copyright law.

You may not transmit any worms, viruses or destructive code. Breach of these terms results in immediate termination of your right to use the site.

2. Products

Our products are handloom. Every saree is woven by hand, and that is the point.

Colour, texture and weave will vary slightly from piece to piece and from the product photograph on screen. Photography lighting and individual screen calibration affect how colour appears. Minor thread pulls, slubs and irregularities in the weave are characteristic of handloom and are not defects.

We have made every effort to display our products accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your monitor displays colour exactly as it appears in person.

Products are available in limited quantities. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product we offer, to discontinue any product at any time, and to limit sales to any person, region or jurisdiction at our sole discretion.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.

4. Accuracy of Information

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges and availability, and to change or cancel orders affected by such errors, even after an order has been submitted.

If an order is cancelled for this reason, we will notify you and refund the amount paid in full.

5. Orders

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for every transaction, including a full delivery address with the correct PIN (Postal Index Number) code and an active mobile number.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. This includes orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors, orders flagged for fraud risk, and orders where the information provided is incomplete or cannot be verified.

If we cancel an order, we will notify you at the email address or phone number provided.

6. Payment

We accept payment through the methods displayed at checkout, including UPI (Unified Payments Interface), debit cards, credit cards and net banking.

Payments are processed by third party gateways. We do not store your complete card details. You agree that all payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.

An order is confirmed only when payment is successfully received.

7. Shipping and Delivery

All shipping matters, including dispatch timelines, tracking, delivery coverage and transit risk, are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

In summary: orders are dispatched within 2 business days, parcels are fully insured in transit at no extra cost to you, and responsibility passes to you once the parcel is delivered to the address you provided.

8. Cancellation, Returns and Exchanges

All cancellation, return and exchange matters are governed by our Refund and Exchange Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The key terms you must be aware of before ordering:

Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once placed

A complete, uncut parcel opening video is mandatory for any damage or wrong item claim

We resolve approved claims through exchange, not monetary refund

Colour variation and handloom weave irregularities are not accepted as defects

9. Third Party Links and Services

Our site may contain links to third party websites, and our services may include third party tools. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, products or services of any third party site.

Any purchase or transaction you make with a third party is between you and that third party. Review their terms and policies before engaging with them.

10. User Submissions

If you send us comments, photographs, reviews, videos or other content, whether requested or not, you agree that we may use, edit, copy, publish and distribute that content without restriction and without any obligation to compensate you.

This includes photographs and videos submitted in connection with a return or exchange request. We may use such content for customer service records and quality improvement.

You agree that your submissions will not violate the rights of any third party, and will not contain unlawful, abusive or defamatory material.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including product photographs, designs, text, logos, graphics and the Sukaweaves name, is our property or licensed to us. It is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, copy, resell or exploit any portion of this site or its content without our express written permission. Unauthorised use of our product images by resellers or competing stores will be pursued.

12. Personal Information

Your submission of personal information through this site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that your use of this site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suka Weaves, its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or any product purchased. Our total liability in any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suka Weaves and its partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third party right.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

16. Termination

These terms remain effective unless terminated by either you or us. You may terminate by ceasing to use the site. We may terminate at any time if you fail to comply with any term, and you remain liable for all amounts due up to that date.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
